This months Project.12 subject was Urban. Of course I waited until the very last day to go out and take these photos. Max loved running up and down this alley and checking out the gutters and steps!

{Bridges} Project.12 Monthly Project
Nothing like waiting until the very last night to do a project!
We have this awesome walking path that goes through Geneseo a long the Hennepin Canal . The canal is an awesome piece of American history, it was used as a test project for the Panama Canal and was going to make maritime travel faster. By the time is was completed there were faster means of transportation. Even this bridge that goes over the canal is made from Carnegie Steel!
I am a history nerd I love this little gem in Geneseo and Max likes to look at the water and trees! :)
We had to get a picture together!
The picture above is not the best picture but I wanted y'all to see the
lock and dam!

Project.12- Monthly Project {Water}
This months theme on project.12 is water. I was kind of stumped on what to do but then it dawned on me!
We have had a really cool spring this year. Today on May 14th, it was the hottest day of the year so far! It reached into the mid 90's!
While Max was taking his morning nap I blew up the pool my friend Sarah got him for his birthday! I filled it with water from the hose and let it sit in the sun so the water could get warm before took his dip in the pool! It was still kind of cool when it was warm enough to go in so I filled my large pot with hot water and dumped it in!
After all of that... Max was not to interested in swimming! He loved pressing down the side and watching the water flow out like a waterfall! I'm sure he will love his grandparents pool this summer!
Check out Project.12!

Maxwell Abram Week 17
This week is Max's last week of being 11 months old. I really cannot believe how fast a year has flown by! He started off so small and helpless and now he is big and strong. He becomes more independent with each day that passes. He is really getting the hang of the standing unassisted now and I know the next step is going to be walking. Ready or not, here it comes!

Newborn Nalah
Check out sweet baby Nalah. She was the teeny tiniest little girl I have ever seen! She slept like a log the whole session!
Project. 12- Monthly Project Doors & Windows
This is my first time participating in the Project.12's monthly project. The theme this month is doors and windows.
Max is about to be one on the 29th. He isn't walking but this boy can sure move! He loves when we hang out upstairs because the windows are so low to the ground and he can just look out on the world below. On top of that he has also learned how to close the door! There is never a dull moment with this little mover!
The next two images don't necessarily have doors or windows, but he was trying to look out the window at the top of the stairs!
The first week of January I started a 52 weeks of Max. I will now be posting a few of the photos on the blog and just one of them on the Facebook page.
Two weeks from today Max is going to be One! I can't believe how fast a year flew by! Just a year ago I was impatiently waiting for Max's arrival and hating the fact that there was snow up to my waist! At that time I had no idea that we would be moving back to the lower 48 in 4 short months but I'm happy we got to be near family for his first year.
Max was made and born in Alaska! That is going to be so cool for him to say when he gets older!
Enough rambling... Here's Max at week 16 of 52.
